مــــولاي مـــوحـــنــــد و الأمــــازيـــــغـــــــيـــــة وثيقة تنشر لأول مرة في نسختها لأصلية لمقال كتبه "مولاي موحند بن عبد الكريم الخطابي" بتاريخ 2 أكتوبر 1914 ( عدد 9.056 ) في جريدة "إيل تيليكَراما ديل ريف" ( جريدة "تيلكيَراف أريف" كانت تصدر في مليلية)، بعد تعيينه مدرسا في أكاديمية اللغة الدارجة والأمازيغية بمدرسة الشؤون الأهلية وفق ظهير ملكي صادر يوم 17 يناير 1914 لتدريس بعض الإسبان، رفقة محمد بن الحاج عمر طحطاح - أمين الديوانة بـ مليلية - الذي عٌين مساعدا له حسب الأمر الملكي الصادر في نفس الجريدة يوم 10 يناير 1914 ... سأضع النص الأصلي للمقال بالإسبانية ثم أتبعه بمحاولة للترجمة إلى العربية ثم إلى اللغات الأخرى الممكنة :

_________________________________ En Español LA LENGUA BEREBER ( Para EL TELEGRAMA DEL RIF ) Las tres cuartas partes de la poblacion del Imperio de Marruecos, son de origen berebere, correspondiendo el resto a las gentes de origen arabe, y no solo es esto cierto, sino que puede afirmarse que en Norte de Africa, desde el Sus hasta Túnez, tienen preponderancia las poblaciones bereberes, hasta el punto de que los ezhuanas (habitantes mas allá de Argel), hablan casi lo mismo que los Kabileños del Rif De aquí resulta la gran importancia que el estudio del schelja tiene los españoles y el acierto del general Jordana al proponer que se organizase su enseñanza oficialmente El bereber o schelja ofrece varios dialecos y el que hablan nuestros convecinos es el tamasigt, palabra derivada de madeguis, nombre de uno de los fundadores de las poblaciones bereberes de estos territorios Los moros no escriben el schelja; pero para su enseñanza convendrá transcribir sus voces al español o al árabe, pues con ambas lenguas pueden expresarse facilmente sus sonidos, fuertemente guturales y aspirados Su arquitectura gramatical, aunque no sea muy complicada, no deja de ofrecer dificultades y sobre todo la presenta para el europeo la pronunciación que requiere prolongados ejercicios y práctica continuada En esta región, el schelja ha recibido en su diccionario no pocas palabras árabes; donde con más pureza se habla es en el Sus, pues allí no se manifiesta la influencia de otras lenguas Honrado con el nombramiento de profesor del schelja en la Academia Oficial de esta Plaza, he de procurar corresponder a la confianza que en mí se ha depositado, poniendo todos mis esfuerzos al servicio del fin que se persigue, o sea, que dentro de poco tiempo haya personas capaces de entenderse con los naturales Al venerable padre espaénol Sarrianandra de los Franciscanos, hombre cultísimo, corresponde la gloria de haber escrito una gramatica muy completa del schelja, en cuya confección ha demostrado profundos conocimimentos del idioma, y yo en mi tarea de profesor, en la que ha de ayudarme como auxiliar Mohamed Tah Tah, me propongo seguir su método de exposicion y utilizar los temas y ejercicios que el libro [*] contiene Los ejercicios diarios consistiran en escritura en las pizarras y traducción, y cuando ya los alumnos adquieran el grado necesario de adelanto, tendremos prácticas de conversación Mis anhelos son que todos cuantos figuran en las clases, militares o paisanos, lleguen a poseer un idioma tan necesario aquí y ruego a Dios que así sea Mohamed Ben Abd El Krim Profesor de la Academia de Sschelja _____________________________________ بـ العربية الـلــــغـــــة الأمازيــــغـــــيـــــــة ( عن تيليكَراف أريف) إن ثلث أرباع سكان الإمبراطورية المغربية من أصل أمازيغي، والباقي من ذوي أصل عربي، وليس هذا صحيحا فحسب، بل يمكن التأكيد بأنه في شمال أفريقيا، من سوس إلى تونس، فالساكنة الأمازيغية هي الغالبة إلى حد أن إزهيان (سكان تخوم الجزائر) يتكلمون تقريبا نفس اللغة التي تتكلمها قبائل الريف. من هنا تستنتج الأهمية الكبرى لدراسة "الشلحة" بالنسبة للإسبانيين وحسن تدبير الجنيرال خوردانا لاقتراح تدريسها رسميا. إن الأمازيغية أو "الشلحة" تنطق بلهجات مختلفة، والتي يتكلمها جيراننا هي "تامازيغت"، كلمة منحدرة من "ماذيكَيس" إسمِ أحد مؤسسي الساكنة الأمازيغية لهذه الأراضي. إن الموريين (المغاربة) لا يكتبون "الشلحة"؛ ولكن من أجل تعليمها يتعين نقل أصواتها بالإسبانية أو بالعربية، لأنه من خلال هاتين اللغتين، يمكن التعبير على أصواتها الحلقية والتنفسية القوية بسهولة. إن هندستها النحوية، ورغم أنها ليست معقدة جدا، لا تستبعد طرح صعوبات و لاسيما ما يتعرض له الأوربي بالنسبة للنطق الذي يحتاج لتمارين أكثر و لتطبيق متواصل. في هذه المنطقة، تلقى معجم "الشلحة" الكثير من الكلمات العربية؛ أما في سوس فإن التحدث بها أكثر نقاء، لأنها لم تخضع لتأثير اللغات الأخرى. إنه لشرف كبير لي أن أٌعين أستاذا في الأكاديمية الرسمية لهذه البلدة، و أنا سأحاول أن أرد بالمثل على الثقة التي حضي بها شخصي، واضعا كل جهودي لتحقيق هذا الهدف، والذي هو، أن يتمكن الإسبان في وقت وجيز من التفاهم مع السكان المحليين. يعود الفضل الكبير للأب الجليل، والرجل المثقف، الإسباني "ساريناندرا" من الفرانسيسكان، في كونه قد كتب نحوا جد كامل لـ "الشلحة"، أبان فيه عن معارفه المعمقة باللغة. بالنسبة لي كأستاذ، سوف يدعمني في مهمتي المساعد محمد طاحطاح، كما أعتزم إتباع نفس منهجيته في العرض واستعمال المواضيع والتمارين التي يحتويها الكتاب [*]. ستتكون التمارين اليومية من الكتابة على الألواح والترجمة، وعندما يكتسب التلاميذ المستوى الضروري المتقدم، سنقوم بتطبيقات المحادثة. متمنياتي أن يتمكن كل الموجودين في هذه الأقسام، عسكريين أو مدنيين، من امتلاك لغة جد ضرورية هنا، وأطلب من الله أن يتحقق ذلك. محمد بن عبد الكريم أستاذ أكاديمية "الشلحة". ---------------------------------- En Français LA LANGUE BERBÈRE (Par EL TELEGRAMA DEL RIF) Les trois quarts de la population de l’Empire Marocain sont d'origine berbère, le reste correspond à ceux d’origine arabe. Non seulement cela est vrai, en plus on peut affirmer qu’en Afrique du Nord, du Souss jusqu’en Tunisie, les populations berbères sont prépondérantes à tel point que les ezhuanes (habitants au delà d’Alger), parlent presque la même langue que les habitants du Rif A partir de cette observation, il résulte d’une grande importance l’étude de "schelja" pour les espagnols et un pari réussi du Général Jordana de proposer son enseignement de manière officielle Le berbère ou "schelja" offre divers dialectes, et celui que parlent nos concitoyens est le "tamasigt", mot dérivé de "madeguis", qui est le nom d’un des fondateurs des populations berbères de ces territoires Les maures n’écrivent pas de "schelja"; mais pour son enseignement, il conviendrait transcrire ses sons en espagnol ou en arabe, puisque à travers ces deux graphies, on peut exprimer facilement ses sons, fortement gutturaux et aspirants. Son architecture grammaticale, même s’il n'est pas très compliqué, continue de présenter des difficultés et surtout ce que représente pour l’européen la prononciation qui nécessite de larges exercices et la continuelle pratique Dans cette région, le "schelja" a reçu dans son dictionnaire pas mal de mots arabes; Par contre au Souss, il est plus pur vu qu’il n’a pas pu subir l’influence d’autres langues Honoré par cette nomination en tant que professeur de "schelja" dans l’Académie Officielle de cette ville, je devrais répondre à la confiance faite en ma personne, en essayant de déployer tous mes efforts en faveur de cette finalité, c’est-à-dire, que dans peu du temps, il y aurait des personnes capables de s’entendre avec les autochtones Au vénérable espagnol père Pedro Sarrianandra des franciscains, homme très cultivé, correspond la gloire d’avoir écrit une grammaire très complète de "schelja", dont la confection démontre ses profondes connaissances de la langue.
